An Activist Approach to dealing with Domestic Violence
This zine came out awhile back, and really needs to be in circulation. It's got really great articles and powerful interviews with people who work against Domestic Violence, who have survived domestic violence, and people who have recognized their own violent behaviors and have worked to change themselves. Articles include: Challenging Assumptions about Domestic Violence, Why Should Men Care about Sexual Violence, Organizing for Our "No Use for Abuse" Weekend, and much more. this zine is sliding scale. If you can't afford the price listed here, feel free to write me and request it for less - cindy pob 29, athens oh 45701 3.75 u.s., 5.34 canada and mexico, 6.64 international |

Cheer The Eff Up #1
I love this zine - it's a sort of short story memoir zine, and hard to tell if the story is true or fiction or somewhere in between (I know the answer, but I'll keep it a secret). About living in a small place where all the punk kids and goth kids and metalhead and skinheads and nerds all hung out together - discovering that everything they'd been taught about race, sex, gender, class, food, history, politics and the environment was total bullshit, and all kinds of things follow. Funny and tragic and redemptive. 3.65 u.s., 5.25 canada and mexico, 5.90 international |

Cheer The Eff Up #2
The second installment of this memoirish story zine I love so much - this one written by one of the people in the previous zine - Nikki Turtle. Stories of surviving rape, and deciding not to identify as victim or survivor, trying to make decisions about how to rebel or fit in, stories about about friendship and changes and adventures and neighbors - again, beautiful and tragic and also some tiny stories written to Cheer the Eff Up - Random moments and memories. 3.65 u.s., 5.25 canada and mexico, 5.90 international |

Cheer the Eff Up #3
If you've already read #1 + #2, then you know how good this zine is. This issue Jonal realizes he's a henchman to real-life supervillains, reconnects with old friends and works on getting his life back. being shy, Art Night, Occupy Wall Street, Confusing Anarchy with Apathy. Jonas is a gifted storyteller, and even if it is (partially) fictional (or is it?) the stories are so TRUE, and so tragic and redemptive. 3.65 u.s., 4.25 canada and mexico, 5.25 international |

cometbus #54: in China with Green Day
Aaron goes on tour with Green Day to China! Epic. More than a travel zine. The part I liked best was talking about how selling out is judged, but people just giving up their creative lives and doing nothing really worthwhile is not judged. 5 ounces 5.40 u.s., 7.00 canada and mexico, 9.60 international |

Deafula
Great zine about deafness: being deaf, different types of deafness and how everyone is different, some people embracing silence, some wearing hearing aids or getting cochlear implants. Deaf culture and identity, and personal experience of how she experienced her own deafness growing up and now. Deafula #3
Another excellent issue of this zine! This issue talks about not wanting to be a "spokesperson" for deafness, identity politics within deaf communities, questions and reaction people have, tips for people who work in customer service about how to accept relay calls (where the operator acts as a go between for you); a peice about "Blind Rage: An Open Letter to Helen Keller" where she talks about daily annoyances, the problems with being a spokesperson - "graciously disabled" - and the rage and the ways spokespersonness takes away your full humanity because people only pay attention to what you have to say about your disability and think you have no other contribution to make. Also: Top 5 things that you don't realize are super annoying for peeps with hearing loss, and 5 top things you are mission out on by being hearing. 2.45 u.s., 3.45 canada and mexico, 3.45 international |

Deafula #4
This issue is about employment and how her hearing loss related to her ability to work; being denied SSI (and how convoulted SSI is to begin with), job discrimination, personal fears, trying to figure out when to tell a potential employer that their deaf, bad customers, ways jobs worked or didn't work, wanting to be more assertive ... "it's hard to explain how it feels when the discrimination happens. it can make you feel so powerless..." 3.65 u.s., 4.65 canada and mexico, 5.00 international |

Dirty Thoughts In Church: the Bar
Great reading! This is a first zine writing and photos by a girl who is trying to sort out her life, and writing about the people who have made their way into her life. This first issue is about the family owned bar she grew up in for 17 years in Canada, and the people there. It is conversations - which bring out a really complex feeling and sense of place, and sense of class and desperation, and love. I really love this zine. 5.00 u.s., 6.60 canada and mexico, 7.25 international |

Entropy
The most powerful and hopeful zine I've ever read about incest survival, body memory, trauma and healing. Peregrine spent years writing it. It is not a raw testimonial, but an unfolding of his story, starting with his discovery that he was a childhood incest surviver, with intense body memories but not many specific fact memories - and the difficulties of belief and denial, within himself and his family. So many men I know are sexual abuse survivors, and I have seen very few zines written by men about it. I know this zine will help so many people. It is great regardless of your gender! I recommend this zine for everyone - regardless of whether or not you are an abuse survivor. It is an essential peice of writing for us all. 6.00 u.s., 7.60 canada and mexico, 8.25 international |

Everyday Magic #1
I love this zine. I love the struggle to bring magic into our political lives - figuring out ways to bring healing in to our lives and communities without neglecting the political or coopting cultures that are not ours. This is a great zine that does just that, talking about learning to pay attention to plants/ocean/self. "I want to practice a spritiuality where personaltransformation is tied to collective healing." They talk about belief systems and name changes and rituals, paganism and kitchen witch and ritual. some specific rituals they did. powerful small stories. This zine opens up so many possibilities. 3.45 u.s., 4.45 canada and mexico, 5.45 international |

Ghost Lungs #1
Beautiful, intense writing. The most beautiful sad zine I have read in a long time.
